Scattered among our hundred-year old olive trees in Olympia, one may find this miraculous pink-flowered shrub in abundance. Also known as savory of Crete, wild savory is used as a cooking herb for its spicy, pungent taste. Its leaves and flowers also make one of the best-tasting of all herb teas and are pleasantly enjoyed for their cleansing and antioxidant properties.
